Legislative Instrument – F2021L01066 – Social Security (Class of Visas – Newly Arrived Resident’s Waiting Period for Carer Payment) Amendment Determination 2021.

This short Instrument repeals Section 5 of the Social Security (Class of Visas – Newly Arrived Resident’s Waiting Period for Carer Payment) Determination 2018. This determination provides an exemption for holders of Carer Subclass 116 or 836 visas from the Newly Arrived Resident’s Waiting Period (NARWP) at the time they make a claim for a carer payment and/or carer allowance.
